What does it cost?
I will normally provide an initial taster session free of charge and then charge for a block of lessons (usually 6/7 weeks) each lesson being £8.00. I will provide you with BACS details, or you can pay by cash or cheque.
Individual consultations are available by arrangement (usually within your own home) and cost from £45.00 per hour.
What should I wear?
Classes are not a fashion show (!) Believe me, you can get carried away with buying the latest yoga/Pilates gear, but it's not necessary. I would recommend leggings (longer shorts for gents) and a comfortable top which may be a tank top/T-shirt. Slightly ‘form-fitting’ clothes are useful, as they allow me to see your posture. Layer up initially with a long sleeve top or cardigan (you will soon warm up)! Bare feet are best but you can get Pilates 'socks' that give you some grip.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, and a bottle of water is recommended. I provide mats, but if you want to bring your own, you are welcome. Just let me know.
Why do I have to pay in a block?
I only run classes for limited numbers to allow me to focus on your technique and ensure a personal touch. Paying in a block ensures your place is always reserved and will allow you develop some commitment and consistency in your exercise. If you have exceptional circumstances such as an ongoing illness or an extended holiday, please speak to me personally. You are welcome to make up classes at other sessions during the week if you are able to get along.
IS THERE PARKING?
At St. Margaret's Church, Olton, there is parking outside the church or in the adjacent road outside the hall. Further parking is available on the other side of the Warwick Road. In Dorridge, there is car parking outside the Methodist Church. Saturdays there is parking at Blossomfield Club.
